Meet Interim Pastor Keith Prekker

Keith PrekkerPastor Keith Prekker was born and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He is a graduate of the University of Minnesota, Luther-Northwestern Lutheran Seminary, and the Graduate Theological Foundation. After serving parishes in South Dakota and Minnesota he moved to Colorado, where he has served in Arvada, Aurora, Broomfield and Erie. He also served as Associate Director of the Lutheran Church in America Foundation/ Director of the Lutheran Ministries Consortium of the Southwest, based in the Bay Area in California. Following his retirement in 2008, he has continued to serve in the role of Interim Pastor in 6 different congregations and Bridge Pastor in two more.


Pastor Keith is married to Pam Faro and between them they have 4 children and 9 grandchildren spread from Omaha to San Francisco. Pam is a professional storyteller, having performed around the world, from Rome to Wales to Australia and all across the US.


A longtime friend of Pastor Mark Peterson and Pastor Glenn Isernhagen, Pastor Keith is very happy for the chance to follow in their footsteps and serve Bethlehem Lutheran during this interim.

 

Pastor Mark Peterson Retires

 
s 2015 PetersonMark 2On June 10, 2018, Pastor Mark Peterson presided over his final service at Bethlehem. Pastor Mark had served at Bethlehem since 2005 and was in the ministry for forty years. The congregation was deeply blessed by his service and ministry. In his retirement, he plans to spend his time visiting his grandchildren who live spread out across the United States in Fort Lauderdale, Nashville, San Francisco, and Denver.
