Faith Formation: Young Adult and Young Families

Young Adult Ministry is the age-specific ministry at Bethlehem Lutheran Church that recognizes the unique variety of needs and gifts of young adults and young families and seeks to walk along side these members in identifying God's activity in their lives. We do this through Faith Formation, Mission, Connecting and Gathering on a regular basis.

Young Adults

March Young Adult Book Study

We are launching a Book Club for Young Adults! This month we are reading the book Jesus for President: Politics for Ordinary Radicals, by Shane Claiborne. Shane was a speaker at the 2012 ELCA Youth Gathering that a few of BLC’s young adults attended as youth. Also, Shane and his co-author of their newest book, Beating Guns, are touring and stopping at Trinity Lutheran Church in Fort Collins on March 23, 11:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. The tour is a 90-minute event that will feature music, art, and stories of people impacted by gun violence, culminating with an invitation for the audience to take the hammer and transform a gun into garden tools. Tickets are free but require a reservation. If you would like to attend the tour, reserve your ticket . If you would like to carpool to the event with other BLC folks, please contact Deaconess Kristen (kristen@bethlehem-lutheran.net)

Softball and Kickball Teams

We practice grace, forgiveness, encouragement and laughter as our regular playing practices. Check out Softball and Kickball Teams under Connect

Summer Softball Anyone?

Team Fees: $682 EARLY-BIRD registration by Apr 15 / $712 STANDARD registration on/after April 15. Includes up to 16 players (split-payment option available with additional $10 convenience fee)

Let Deaconess Kristen (kristen@bethlehem-lutheran.net) know by April 15 if you want to play so we have enough time to get all the info and get registered!
