DONATIONS NEEDED

Making a difference for our neighbors. The following are being collected now in the narthex basket and on September 10 before, between, and after services.

Annie and Millie’s Place serving pets of the homeless:

  • Small bags (individual or 2-5 lb) of dog food or small canned cat food
  • New dog and cat toys
  • Leashes new or gently used

Casa de Paz serving newly released immigrants in Aurora:

  • Backpacks
  • Individually wrapped snacks (Not granola bars)
  • Empty disposable water bottles

New Beginnings serving newly released women prisoners:

  • Toiletries/Personal Hygiene items of all sizes
  • Toothbrushes and toothpaste
  • Individually wrapped Snacks (not granola bars)
  • New women’s underwear/socks
  • Gift cards to fast food restaurants

The Little Pantry:

  • Small pop top cans of tuna
  • Small jars of Peanut Butter

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

September 10 from 12:00-2:00 p.m.
All ages encouraged to sign-up

Tasks to sign-up for:

  • Harvest vegetables and flowers and weed in the Growing Garden garden at Bethlehem
  • Make-up backpacks for Casa de Paz and released immigrants
  • Make-up backpacks for New Beginnings and released women prisoners
  • Help with quilt making (NO experience needed) for small quilts for babies and toddlers of immigrant families in El Paso and others in need of quilts
