Bethlehem has a tradition of enhancing worship services with a variety of both vocal and instrumental music. We look for and welcome people willing to share their gifts. Whether you sing or play an instrument, are a beginner or a professional, we invite you to explore the musical opportunities at Bethlehem and join us.

Bethlehem Choirs
If you have not yet joined a BLC musical group and are interested in singing or playing an instrument, please contact our Worship Chair (worship@bethlehem-lutheran.net.
Adult Choir (Wednesdays, 7:00–8:15 p.m.)

The Adult Choir is an SATB choral ensemble. This traditional choir of volunteers includes men and women, both beginning and experienced singers. Rehearsals are on Wednesday evenings from 7:00–8:30 p.m. in the choir room. Come join us!

This season we will be preparing some new and exciting music. The Adult Choir welcomes new members to join us for great fellowship and music-making. Bethlehem church members with any interest in music at all (no vocal experience necessary) may join the choir on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 p.m.
Revelation Choir
The Revelation Choir is a group of volunteer singers offering their musical gifts to sing hymns and lead worship on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month at the 10:15 a.m. service.
Smaller Vocal Groups
Musical Ambassadors to Atria Senior Living
On the second Sunday of the month, we head over to Atria Senior Living, Longmont immediately following our second service to sing, read scripture and pray The Lord’s Prayer with the residents. This is the only church they have. Please join us in bringing joy to some who cannot make it to a more formal service. All are welcome. For more information contact, Jeanne P. BLC Women’s Choir & Men’s Choir
BLC has both a Women’s Choir and a Men’s Choir which occasionally sing during worship services. Each group enjoys getting together to sing and have fun exploring harmonies! Both groups are always looking for new singers.
Bethlehem Gospel Singers

The Bethlehem Gospel Singers is a small ensemble of singers that, on special occasions, lead worship and offer special music. They have a good time making music together. Please speak to Jim W. (jnswoodruff@gmail.com) if you are interested in singing with this group.

Boomwhackers!

Bluegrass Group
The Bluegrass Group leads worship the second Sunday of each month at both the 8:00 a.m. and 10:15 a.m. services. The liturgy music on those Sundays is in bluegrass style, written and arranged especially for Bethlehem’s services. Instruments include banjo, mandolin, fiddle, acoustic guitar, and electric bass. The group engages some talented members of Bethlehem Lutheran, as well as friends and other bluegrass musicians from around the area. Bethlehem Brass

Members of Bethlehem Lutheran who play brass instruments come together to support worship, lending a majestic and sonorous color to the sounds of celebratory times. If interested, please contact Worship Chair (worship@bethlehem-lutheran.net, 303-776-3290) for more info.
String Ensemble


Members of Bethlehem who play string instruments (violin, viola, cello) come together periodically to support worship—elevating hymn accompaniments—bringing flowing melodies and harmonic warmth to our services. Contact Diane P. (dcpenny@msn.com) for more information.
