We are hosting our annual Vacation Bible School this July!
This year’s theme is RAINFOREST FALLS, Exploring the Nature of God. Students will venture through the rainforest while exploring the Bible.
While making your summer plans please keep VBS in mind as a fun and interactive activity for your children! VBS is open to preschoolers (3 years old) to 5th graders.
Registration Opens May 1
We hope you will join us!
Children 3 years old (must be potty-trained) through 5th grade (just completed) are invited for a week of in-person faith, fun and more! Staff and volunteers from Bethlehem Lutheran (BLC) and First Evangelical Lutheran Church (FELC) will lead stories, activities, songs, games, and this week of faith and relationship building.
- Drop off time is 9:00 – 9:15 a.m. and pick up time is from 12:00–12:15 p.m.*
- Pre-registration is required as the number of participants will be limited to provide appropriate onsite safety and amount of materials.
- Please make sure to bring a filled water bottle for each child; snacks will be provided.
- Remember to apply sunscreen each day.
There is no cost for our Vacation Bible School.

Up to four entries per family can be registered on one form. Fields marked with asterisk are required.

Volunteer Form
To volunteer to help with the VBS, please fill out the Volunteer Form. We welcome parents, grandparents, and older children/teens to help with snacks, teams, activities, checking-in/out, etc.
POSITION DESCRIPTIONS
Check-in / Pick-up table: A group of adults will check-in and check-out children at the front door
PRESCHOOL
Preschool children and volunteers go through their own curriculum in the preschool rooms. They do not have crew leaders or travel from station to station. They too have Games, Imagination Station, Deep Bible Adventure, and Sticky Scripture activities that are suitable for their age group.
ELEMENTARY
Crew Leader: Lead groups of 6 elementary aged children to each of their stations
Station Leader (Adult): Lead an Elementary Station– Games, Imagine Station, Deep Bible Adventure, & Sticky Scripture
Station Helper (Youth): Assist at an Elementary Station– Games, Imagine Station, Deep Bible Adventure, & Sticky Scripture

Decorating: Decorate rooms the week before VBS

Donations Needed
VBS runs smoothly because of the donations we receive! We will have a list of needed items closer to the start of VBS.
If you would like to make a monetary donation you can make it online here. You can also bring a donation to the church office during office hours or mail a check to “Bethlehem Lutheran Church” designated to “VBS”.
